On March 27, we ordered the immediate stop of illicit and non-permitted vegetarian food sale and catering business conducted on the premises of the Cao Dai Temple of California at 8791- 8811 Orangewood Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92841.The area used for vegetarian food preparation and sale was sealed and red-tagged by the City of Garden Grove the following day.
We have then detected evidence in many other parts of the Temple of illicit activities, including non-permitted businesses, embezzlement, money laundering and tax evasion. We have requested criminal investigations by law enforcement, including the Garden Grove Police, Orange County Police, the Office of California’s Attorney General, the FBI, the Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network Center, the Internal Revenue Service, the California Franchise Tax Board, and the State Bar of California.
In light of our request for criminal investigation, the entire facility and premises of the Temple should be treated as a potential crime scene and must be kept intact for posible inspection by law enforcement agencies.
During our latest assessment of the site, on Saturday April 12, we noticed many changes being made to the scene. We hereby demand that all attempts to tamper with or remove potential evidence be stopped immediately and indefinitely.

Ngày 27 tháng 3, chúng tôi đã thông báo ngưng hoạt động bán thức ăn chay trái phép trên khuôn viên của Thánh Thất Cao Đài California tại địa chỉ 8791- 8811 Orangewood Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92841. Ngày hôm sau, Thành Phố Garden Grove niêm phong, cấm lai vãng khu vực nấu và bán thức ăn chay.
Chúng tôi tìm thấy chứng cứ về nhiều hành vi phạm pháp ở nhiều khu vực của Thánh Thất bao gồm hoạt động kinh doanh trái phép, biển thủ, rửa tiền và trốn thuế. Chúng tôi đã yêu cầu các cơ quan công lực điều tra hình sự, gồm có cảnh sát TP Garden Grove, cảnh sát Orange County, Tổng Chưởng Lý California, FBI, đơn vị chống tội phạm tài chính của Bộ Ngân Khố, Sở Thuế Liên Bang, Hội Đồng Thuế Vụ Tiểu Bang, và Luật Sư Đoàn California.
Vì chúng tôi đã yêu cầu điều tra hình sự, toàn bộ cơ sở cũng như khuôn viên của Thánh Thất có thể là hiện trường tội phạm phải giữ nguyên trạng cho cuộc thanh tra có thể diễn ra của các cơ quan công lực. Trong lần kiểm tra hiện trường gần đây nhất, ngày Thứ Bảy 12 tháng 4 vừa qua, chúng tôi thấy có dấu hiệu thay đổi hiện trường. Chúng tôi yêu cầu mọi toan tính thay đổi hoặc xoá bỏ tang vật phải chấm dứt ngay và vô hạn định.
